Shower time has never been more relaxing. With working 50+ hrs a week as a Front end customer service specialist. Is hard work, lifting Tvs, microwaves and other big items has done a number on my back and legs. This dual shower head has 12 spray patterns plus the shower wand is removable on a 8ft hose. The vibrations from the different patterns really loosened up my tense muscles. My favorite patten is the feeling of a back rub. It really got into my muscles and the fact that this is FDA approved makes it more comforting by trusting it with my body.

I've been using the Waterpik Hairwand Pulse Spa System for a couple of weeks now and really love it. It was easy to install with clear written instructions included. The design is very attractive and sleek and the the bracket is adjustable which I find particularly helpful being only 5'1. The hose is 8' long which is also really nice. I find the length especially helpful for rinsing out the tub after cleaning it. There are several different settings on both the fixed shower head and also on the wand. On the fixed head, there are 8 different variations ranging from a super relaxing mist, to a powerful invigorating massage setting. It's very easy to switch between all the different settings by just turning the rotating lever. The wand has 4 different settings of it's own which are controlled by a rotating knob at the base of the handle. Three of these settings change the strength of the spray, and the fourth provides a powerful massage spray which is great for muscle tightness and also makes rinsing hair a quick and easy job. I used it to rinse hair color out and it only took a fraction of the time that it normally takes with a regular showerhead. All in all, the system provides a wonderful spa like experience, and is very enjoyable with it's wide selection of settings and ease of use.

I am enjoying this shower head. It gives me a spa experience every day. The multiple head settings are sure to fulfill whatever water pressure I might need. The comb wand is great at whisking away shampoo and conditioner from my hair more quickly and completely than anything else I have used. The design is not overly large which is ideal for my shower stall. I am still experimenting with its features to get the most personalized shower possible. All in all, this is a wonderful shower head, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to replace their current shower head.

This is the best showerhead we’ve ever had! The showerhead itself has several different settings from high pressure rain shower to a gentle pulse. It’s truly amazing and the hair wand? Out of this world! So much pressure, you’ll love it. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves relaxing and high pressure showers..

The model YPW-839E/SPW-489MED hair wand pulse spa system is a combination fixed mount shower head and a hand shower attached to an 8 foot metal hose. Before the unit can be used, the old shower head has to be removed and the several parts of the new system assembled. The quality of the parts is excellent. The instructions state that an adjustable wrench is needed for installation, but I found that using may bare hands was adequate. While the manufacturer states that the product installs in minutes, that may be a bit optimistic. I took me about half an hour to remove the old shower head and instal the new unit. I never made a mistake during installation, but as a man age 78, I move a bit slower than when I was younger. I would estimate a younger individual could complete the installation in about 15 minutes. Between the fixed shower head and the wand, there are a total of 12 functions most of which involve various combinations of massage. When I first used the unit, I had it set for a full body spray from the fixed shower head and the spray was so incredibly relaxing that I had no desire to test the other 11 functions, or for that matter, get out of the shower! After a long while, I did bring myself to test all the massage settings and each one felt good, but not as relaxing as the full body spray. The online instruction manual gives advice for the benefits of each setting and includes videos for various health benefits (soothe muscle tension, increase flexibility, promote restful sleep, soothe and reduce foot pain and discomfort, relieve general stress, increase surface blood flow, and relieve joint discomfort). Since I was fortunate not to have any of these problems, I cannot attest to the value of each setting, but I can say they all felt good. The company also sites clinical studies showing the value of each of the health settings, but all the studies except one were subjective, and the last one showed a measured increase in forearm blood flow with a hot water massage, but there was no control study to show the result of using hot water along without any massage function. The box label says the shower head is registered with the FDA (Federal Drug Administration), but I have no idea what that means. It would be nice if it meant that the FDA has verified the efficacy of each massage function, but I doubt that is the case. In conclusion, as I said in my title, this was the best shower head system I have ever used. The full body spray alone is worth the price of this very high quality unit, and if you are unfortunate enough to have any of the afflictions noted, the massage functions are icing on the cake. I very strongly recommend this unit.

Waterpik is getting closer to perfection with this one. The handheld has four settings that are easy to change. Installation was super easy. My only woe is the plastic parts that feel cheap. 4/5.

This is an excellent showerhead! The metal finish gives it a "quality" look and that includes the hose attachment for the hair wand. Both the main shower head and the hair wand put out amazing pressure and feel great. The only downside is that the two are not designed to work simultaneously. When you set it to the middle, they do both work, but the pressure is limited (for single shower users this isn't an issue, but for those who might share shower time with someone else, this is important). Other than that this is an excellent shower head!
