Surprised by 1.8 GPM Pressure

I have only taken 2 showers so far but am impressed by the power of the 1.8 GPM pressure flow. I wanted to get a hand held shower for shower ease and to help clean the shower. I have a 36" stall shower with the shower arm 3 " from the ceiling so my options are very limited. Most hand held units prevent angling the shower head down because the handle hits the wall. With the low height selection, the handle angles forward so there is no issue with the wall. With that said, the swivel pivot doesn't really allow sufficient downward angulation. I ordered an additional swivel adapter from a plumbing supply store and this should do the trick. I want it to work because I do like the force of the shower head. The PowerPulse massage is awesome. The other settings are also handy. Easy installation and absolutely no leaks with the first try. I originally planned to remove the flow restrictor if the flow was weak but it isn't. Although it is all plastic/ABS, it so far impressed with the quality. Time will tell. Low flow does not mean low pressure.

My husband installed this shower head in less than 10 minutes! That was already a pro in itself. Our prior shower head had what we thought was great pressure, until we tried this shower head out for the first time. It definitely blew our old one out of the park! I love how flexible the extension is as well, and the modes are awesome too! I believe there are 7 total modes on ours? It felt like our heads were getting a massage when using, so it is VERY relaxing! This made our backs feel amazing too! This shower head seems to successfully get the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair in less time than our previous one, which was an awesome pro. We have not experienced any leaking or issues with pressure whatsoever.
The only con for us is that this is a brushed nickel, and we have all bronze fixtures throughout our bathroom. Honestly, that isn’t a dealbreaker for us since we are the only ones using that bathroom anyways!
We would definitely recommend giving this shower head a try. It’s well worth it, and helps to relax you after any day of the week, especially if it’s been stressful or if you have had a long workout.

Loved getting to try out this shower head and it came at just the right time. We were looking for a new shower head.
First, it is a little longer in length than our old one, so that was great!
Second, it had more than 2-3 options for how the water comes out. It was nice to make it a little more “rough” when I wanted more of a massage in the shower.

It was so simple to install, a simple screwdriver and in minutes it was working. It has several settings that make a big difference in the pressure. My biggest concern is getting it back on the hook when you take it down and use it in your hand is a pain in the butt. I like it in the higher position but it takes 2 hands to slide it in properly

Q: After installing the product, periodic dripping occurs. All fittings are tight. The drips last for about 6-8 drips, then stops. After a period of time, the dripping will repeat. This seems to happen throughout the day at various times.

Q: The hose has plastic covers at both ends to protect the fittings and allow for a firm grip during installation. But the plastic cover on the sprayer side makes it impossible for the sprayer to fit in the holder. Am I supposed to cut it off?

A: Hello Gary2024 - These plastic caps are there to prevent the hose washers from falling out of place during shipping. They just need to be pulled off of each hose conical before they are screwed onto the bracket and the hand held shower head. Q: Shower head hose is leaking bad at the bottom; does the whole hose and coupling have to be replaced or is there another washer there that I haven’t seen on the lower end ?
